Our sedintary lifestyle. As much as your body has detox functions built in remeber the origional design worked best when people ate mostly food they grew and spent hours and hours of physical activity.

Hunting for a lost file on my computer or capturing a video hardly qualifies. Hours laboring over a hot computer or climbing the ranks in a google seach just won’t compare.

Lately I am making my lunch and afternoon snack just a bunch of apples. Cold from the fridge they are quite satisfying. Red Delicious. I have heard other apples discussed as prefered but if I don’t really like the taste then I will not stay with the program. I am going to try this for 3 days maybe a week.


As I have said before, and it bares repeating, It is my plan to make detox dieting part of my every day life. I will be sharing my recipes I use as I go along.

Here is a detox diet meal recipe I did today.

1 big red onion
4-5 garlic clove pieces.
3 Tbl spoons olive oil
1 Tbl spoon cyanne pepper

This is very tasty cooked. It is still very healthful.

My Detox plan is about healthy detox foods becoming part of my everyday life. As you will see the magic of detox revolves around fresh food. Lunch today was a romaine salad with a little oil and vinager.

Your body has detox methods working already. Some may ask, why detox?

The main goal of a detoxification program is to help and assist your body’s own cleansing system. We are all aware of the many chemicals present all around us. Popular foods contain many additives as well.

Much as you may be healthy many of us want to achieve optimum health. Have more energy, strengthen our immune system, and life a longer more vigorous life.

For example lemon is known to be valuable for detox. Without going to a great extreme one can simply keep a bottle of lemon juice on hand and add some to every glass of water. You will likely find yourself drinking this instead of the many high calorie drinks and have the double benefit of losing some excess weight.
