No study I know of shows definitivly cancer will be prevented if everybody does just this one thing, or eats this one food, or not this other. Since people’s bodies and tolerance are different there will probably never be a “one size fits all” for cancer prevention. Our bodies change substantially during our own life. We go through deteriation and healing.

As beings with the spark of life we are served well by living foods. To gain detox and promote out body’s healing ability choosing fresh vegetables, fruits, grains and beans to be a big part of your daily diet will detox you.

More energy and less disease can be pretty much guaranteed to those who partake in making fresh natural foods, enough rest and exercise, and stress management something to study and practice.

As much as this blog is about body detox recipes doing specific detox activities has to be part of making the best effort to live a healthy and productive live by incorporating healthy habits and working to unload the unhealthy stuff.

Rushing into detox as a way to counter an otherwise unhealthy living experience is much like rushing to your doctor for a “fix me” prescription. I can only imagine how doctors feel when they see an overweight smoker have a serious ailment when he knows it never had to be like that.

Even detoxing and healthy eating will be substantially undermined if a person is not learning to deal better with the stresses life presents to everyone. When you are upset by anything, that is stress. Stress is your reaction to life. Resentment is the worst. It seems a natural reaction yet if followed, the poisons resentment, unforgiveness, and holding ill will generate inside you will fester into a destruction no medicine or fast or herb will fully protect you from.

You will have many benefits of a detoxification by building up gradually to a longer detox cleansing diet. It is not healthy to just go fast for a week if your body is not used to detox dieting.

Making Detoxing Part Of Your Life

Cleansing is something your body is doing everyday. We can help promote and assist the body’s natural systems.

For example, this simple recipe can easily be a part of any modern busy life. Part of the problem is we have food habits that are almost addictions. Food has emotional connections for most of us.

The ideal diet of vegitables, fruits and grains is the basis of many diets that when people eat mainly these foods there is a huge reduction in the chronic illnesses so common in modern society.

A more serious liver detox recipe can be done with nothing else for a day or 3 or it can just replace a meal. Internally your body tries to maintain a balance so if you are new at this just replace one meal then try the rest of the day to eat simple whole natural fresh foods. Yogurt, honey, whole grain breads, oatmeal, salads, fruit. These foods will heal many illnesses. These foods will give you energy. These foods will give you better focus.

Doing a 3 day detox is a simple way to stay healhy and to lose weight. It’s only 3 days so it will not be a gruelling marathon. I find short detox diets done more often works better for me.

This simple detox should increase your energy too.

On the First Day:

Start your day with water and a little lemon juice, it is refreshing. Don’t drink anything else except a little fresh fruit juice, not the kind with added sugar. For Breakfast you should have a light wholegrain cereal and fruit, oatmeal is ok if you prefer.

When lunchtime rolls around eat just vegetables and a few ounces of fish. The type of vegetables and fish I leave up to your taste. Your body has a sense of what is best for it. See how easy this is? You won’t even feel hungry.

Have a similar meal for dinner. Make sure to leave off oils and salt, or really any heavy seasoning. Day 1 is focused on vegetables, a little fish, and plenty of lemon water.

For the second day:

You keep drinking lemon water and plenty of it, your body will let you know if it is too much, don’t be thinking of gallons though, OK? Stay away from coffee or tea are allowed (Do I have to tell you , No Junk Food?)

Your Breakfast today will be just fresh fruit and lemon water. Go with what is available, in season, your favorites. I like apples, peaches, grapes and may a banana if I am feeling super hungry. Eat until you are satisfied.

Have for lunch a nice green salad with just a little olive oil and lemon on it, go with dark green. When you are ready for dinner eat steamed fish and steamed vegetables. Steaming the vegetables makes them easier for your body to digest.

One of the important principals of detox diets is to lighten the load on your body. You should be feeling more energy and your skin should be looking better by now.

For the third and final day:

See this is not too hard. and you only have one more day to a healthier you. Today is only lemon water and fruit. You may feel very hungry today but hang in there this is the last day. Fell free to eat a few times through the day but just fruit and only lemon water, or plain water if you prefer.

Dinner will make it easier because you can have steamed vegetables. I like corn because it is filling but also go with dark green. The green is from the chlorophyll which is a natural purtifier.

The great part of a 3 day detox is you can fit it into your active life. I do these once every month or so.

Here is a detox diet meal recipe I did today.

1 big red onion
4-5 garlic clove pieces.
3 Tbl spoons olive oil
1 Tbl spoon cyanne pepper

This is very tasty cooked. It is still very healthful.

My Detox plan is about healthy detox foods becoming part of my everyday life. As you will see the magic of detox revolves around fresh food. Lunch today was a romaine salad with a little oil and vinager.
